Richard Wiese is the multi-Emmy-winning host of Born to Explore, an acclaimed travel and adventure series that has aired on Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, PBS and ABC. He is also the current President of the legendary Explorers Club, where he champions global exploration, scientific discovery, and cultural understanding.
A lifelong adventurer, Richard climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro at age 11 and has since led expeditions on all seven continents—from tagging jaguars in the Yucatán to skiing to the North Pole and co-discovering over 200 new life forms in Central Park. A graduate of Brown University with a degree in science, he is married and lives in Connecticut with his wife, their three teens, two cats, and a friendly golden retriever.

Abigail Jaffe
Co-Founder, BP Travel Club
Abigail is the Co-Founder of the BP Travel Club, an affiliate of Travel Experts that plans luxury bespoke trips with an emphasis on exotic destinations, culture, and adventure sports. She is herself an Advanced PADI scuba diver, horseback riding enthusiast and former squash player.
She was a Benjamin Franklin Scholar and Rhodes Scholar nominee at the University of Pennsylvania and completed her MPhil Degree in Archaeology at the University of Cambridge in England, where she spent a year interning in the Fitzwilliam Museum with a focus on Asian decorative arts. She has been a member of the Explorers Club for over ten years.
